Do the advocates help men?

Advocates for Family Peace (AFFP) serves men if there is no conflict of interest.  AFFP also provides information and education for those who are respondents in court proceedings for Orders for Protection.

Women make up 96% of the cases of battering.  They suffer disproportionately from physical assaults resulting in injury, rape, and murder.  "Why is he violent?" is a more appropriate question than "Why doesn't she just leave?"  AFFP's main focus is on the safety of women and children.

Advocates for Family Peace does offer the following programs to assist men with establishing or maintaining healthy relationships in their lives:
The Wellstone Family Safety Program
Parents Forever
Love and Logic
The Intervention Program for Men
